Oracle Principal Software Developer in India

Job Description

This team is dedicated to product development and strategy for Oracle Health, creating a comprehensive platform that supports modernized, automated healthcare. · 7+ years of experience in the software industry working on design, development and delivery of highly scalable products and services.

· Understanding of the entire product development lifecycle that includes understanding and refining the technical specifications, HLD and LLD of elite products and services, refining the architecture by providing feedback and suggestions, developing, and reviewing code, driving DevOps, managing releases, support and operations.

· Expertise in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, Crunch, Spark)

. Proficiency in Java or JVM-based languages

. Experience with multi-threading, parallel processing, and distributed computing

. Track record of building scalable, high-performance, and secure services

. Good knowledge of microservices architecture and API design

. Experience in container platforms and cloud technologies

. Experience with CI/CD and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic)

. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and version control (Git/SVN)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to establish and refine best practices and methodologies.

  • Conceptualize and create detailed specifications for major data ingestion projects, then develop software solutions based on these specifications.

  • Execute core software development tasks, including coding, architecting, and troubleshooting applications, data pipelines, and microservices.

  • Architect and implement robust, scalable, and resilient software systems capable of distributed operations.

  • Create and deploy cloud services utilizing the latest Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies.

  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through post-production support.

  • Champion and implement superior engineering and operational practices to ensure consistently high software quality.

  • Enhance data processing pipelines to achieve substantial improvements in throughput and latency reduction.

  • Leverage OCI's suite of internal tools for software development, building, deployment, and maintenance processes.
