As a member of the Automation team within the Network Services Department, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative self-service and automation tools that enhance the productivity and quality of network infrastructure tasks. Our Network Tools portfolio empower network engineers with automation capabilities, intuitive dashboards, and self-service features, ultimately driving efficiency and excellence in enterprise network infrastructure operations.

This position is highly technical and requires both strong contextual understanding as well as practical experience.

• You will have a breadth of Cisco Networking experience, as well as a strong understanding and practical experience with Cloud load balancing, particular with Google native ILBs and the F5 Networks BigIP product line.

• Responsible for the Cloud network application and IaC design, product engineering, installation, and ongoing operations of large-scale deployments for various customers.

• Maintain the DevOps CI/CD pipeline

• Integrate the Ford network with Google Cloud using rest API’s, Network services and Terraform

Must have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or equivalent experience in a related technical role

• 3+ years of experience writing code and doing automation

• 2+ years of experience working in a DevOps or CI/CD driven environment.

• Relevant certification is an added advantage

One or more skills from below will be an added advantage

• Experience in Programming Languages and Protocols: Golang, Javascript, Node.js, JSP, C#, Perl Lua Regex, C++, std lib and Git, BASH, C+• 1+ years of experience at Ford installing, configuring, ordering, procuring server hardware in the datacenter spaces will be an asset as well.

• Knowledgeable in Cloud and System Environments like GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, VMware, GCP, RancherOS, KVM Xen, VirtualBox, Hadoop,

• CI/CD and Configuration Management

• Experience with Gitlab, Github, Quay, Docker, Jenkins or Adamocomp.
