What’s is the job?

The Guest Service Centre is responsible for offering a one-stop service for any guest requests and coordinating service delivery across departments. They will work closely with all departments to ensure that each guest request is fulfilled in a timely manner. This includes managing and prioritizing requests, communicating clearly with guests to understand their needs, and ensuring that the appropriate department is engaged to address those needs effectively.

Your day to day

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally. Direct calls to the appropriate departments or individuals and handle internal communications effectively.

Address and resolve guest inquiries and requests over the phone, providing information about the hotel’s services, facilities, and local attractions.

Take and deliver messages for guests and staff accurately and promptly. Ensure that all messages are handled with confidentiality and professionalism.

Operate the hotel’s telephone and communication systems, including managing voicemail, call forwarding, and other telecommunication functions.

Handle guest complaints and issues related to telephone services, escalating matters to management when necessary. Ensure all problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

What’s the qualification?

Previous experience in a telephone or customer service role is preferred, especially within a hospitality environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Professional demeanor, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact.

Familiarity with telephone systems and equipment.

Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
