Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Head of Digital Solutions (Airports) to join our aviation team in Europe! The candidate is responsible for the definition of the Programs digital solution for the management of an Airport Program, exchange of information, retention of records and increasing the productivity, safety and efficiency of the Programs delivery. The role shall define the requirements, architecture and systems / software requirements for the Program including the Common Data Environment to meet Client needs and the needs of the Program. This role shall provide specifications for Client to procure, with the support of the PMO, necessary software, licenses, data storage / hosting, support, configuration and anything else necessary to operate the accepted digital solution to meet the needs of the Program.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) IT department, including supervising and mentoring PMO IT staff, setting departmental goals, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Develop and implement project data strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the program goals and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to assess technology needs and requirements, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and security.

  • Ensure the security and integrity of the program's data, systems, and information by implementing appropriate security measures and protocols.

  • Plan and manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timelines.

  • Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external technology service providers.

  • Monitor and analyze technology trends and developments and make recommendations for technology upgrades and enhancements.

  • Develop and implement IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff members, troubleshooting issues and ensuring prompt resolution.

  • define the requirements, architecture and systems / software requirements for the Program including the Common Data Environment to meet Client needs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or another related field

  • 10+ years of experience in working as an IT Manager or similar role

  • Airport Experience for at least 3 years

  • Experience in EDMS, BIM, CDE

  • Experience in leading large IT projects and implementing IT infrastructure across various technologies

  • Excellent knowledge of networks, security, computer systems, and database systems.
