The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

The Role
As an Operations Technical Coordinator at Safran Electrical & Power you will administer and coordinate the organisation of production for a global leader in aerospace. You will coordinate maintenance schedules, managing stock and the procurement of PPE and tooling equipment. You will be responsible for the budget and indirect procurement within the area, handling miscellaneous procurement requests. You will manage the training database and coordination of rotas and overtime.
• Responsible for PPE and tooling
• Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance checks on equipment and machinery
• Manage the tooling and calibration within the production area
• Support over 30 skilled manufacturers
• Responsible for subcontracted activities within the manufacturing area
• Coordinate planning of rotas and overtime
• Budget responsibility for the designated area
• Manage the SAP system, resolving issues and discrepancies

Job Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but we're also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have some or all of the following, we'd love to hear from you:
• Strong manufacturing background
• Experience leading or coordinating admin activities
• Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships
• Effective time management skills
• Knowledge of SAP beneficial
• Evidence of written English at interview stage.
