The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team based in the UK is accountable for managing the company’s workspace and real estate assets throughout the UK, Africa and Central European.

The main focus of the CRE beam is to ensure WSP’s workspaces are designed and managed to attract and retain the best talent within our industry whilst operating efficiently and aligned to our ESG goals.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Real Estate (UK, Central Europe and Africa), the Regional Property Manager (CE) will be responsible for leading the successful real estate management of the Central European region comprising over 90 properties and 55,000 sqm. WSP currently operates through the majority of central Europe including; France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Poland.

WSP is seeking to recruit an experienced real estate professional to oversee the management of WSP’s central European property portfolio. With the support of outsourced partners, this will include leading the transactional management associated with acquiring, operating and disposing of real estate assets on behalf of WSP. The role holder will be expected to liaise with senior stakeholders across the business in developing a robust real estate strategy aligned to the future needs to the business.

Working with other WSP functions, the role holder will be expected to lead real estate related projects including office refurbishments and workplace design programmes encouraging new agile working practices whilst creating innovative workspaces for WSP colleagues to collaborate and engage with their clients.

Forming part of the wider Corporate Real estate team, the role holder will be responsible for monitoring the legal compliance and safety of the estate working closely with outsourced service partners and landlords.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing an effective supply chain strategy for the region including the provision of real estate brokers, specialist advisors, designers, and Facilities Management providers to support the management of the estate.

In addition to maintaining a comprehensive lease library and database, the candidate will be also required to provide a occasional executive-level reports pertaining to the strategy and development of the portfolio – these may include detailed market evaluations or business cases supporting the acquisition or disposal of WSP real estate assets. In addition, the role holder will be expected to assist in the forecasting of both operating and capital budgets pertaining to the company’s real estate.

  • BA/BS degree in a field related to Corporate Real Estate (CRE) management.

  • Membership of a relevant professional industry body, such as MRICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or MCIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers).

  • Multilingual proficiency, with fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, German, or Italian.

  • Experience managing a real estate portfolio across Central European regions, totalling more than 30,000 sqm.

  • Experience in handling commercial property negotiations and transactions within a large private organization.

  • Experience in managing office refurbishment programs > 2,000 sqm.

  • A comprehensive understanding of real estate industry best practices and current market trends.
