Corra is looking for a Production Systems Engineer who will work with our clients and ensure they receive white-glove treatment as they troubleshoot and resolve any and all technical issues in their ecommerce production systems. As a Production Systems Engineer, you will sit closest to the “beating heart” of our clients, namely, their ability to generate revenue.
In this role, you will act as a consultant to the client in a multitude of ways to ensure the highest functioning and performance of their ecommerce system through your technical acumen and strong communication to both business and technical stakeholders alike. As a Production System Engineer, you must be able to thrive in an Agile software development environment. You will also work cross functionally with other teams at Corra to troubleshoot issues and identify sales opportunities. Your responsibility will be to lead your client and team to that next level!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume ultimate accountability and ownership for your clients’ ecommerce production systems
Provide primary troubleshooting and hands on fixes for your clients’ critical support issues during US business hours
Work with Product Owner and Tech Lead on architecture and design for new features
Consult with clients and partners about technical solutions to common and recurring problems
Ensure that SLAs are met
Coordinate all support related efforts across a distributed team
Ensure security best practices are followed
Delegate and dispatch lower critical support issues to proper teams
Coordinate efforts with third parties
Provide reporting on key KPIs to clients and management
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in PHP, HTML/CSS and/or JavaScript/Jquery
2+ years Linux server administration
Relational database experience, MySQL preferred
Ecommerce experience
Prior experience with Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite of tools
Magento Experience (Certification a big plus)
Strong understanding of SEO concepts
Experience with Analytics, Personalization and A/B Testing
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written—no exceptions
Experience with design, implementation and customization of ecommerce retail systems is preferred
Strong command of: the software development life cycle (SDLC), online collaboration tools, mainstream project management software, budget management; schedule management for multi-person, cross functional teams; containing scope creep; change management/change order process
MS Office Suite proficiency required
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Must be able to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies
Organized, detail-oriented
Ability to work on-call hours occasionally
Potential Salary Range: $70,000-$110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
