Oracle Multicloud Solution Specialist V in Australia

Job Description

Our Emerging Cloud solution specialist team seeks an energetic, service-oriented, and curious Multicloud Specialist to join our organization to drive Multicloud (e.g. Oracle Database@Azure) business. The role is customer-facing and hands-on with a focus to specific product expertise to facilitate the qualification to closing of deals and assist in customer onboarding. This role will work directly with external customers, multicloud partners, and multiple internal Oracle teams such as OCI Product Management, Cloud Architects and Sales team. As a Specialist for emerging cloud solutions, you would have the opportunity to make foundational impacts as you contribute to high growth areas.

This position requires superior executive communication skills and technical depth; knowledge of Azure, GCP, Autonomous and Exadata Cloud Service is a plus. Soft skills are paramount, as our team is at the forefront of driving many company-wide top-priority initiatives that require successful buy-in, balanced approaches, and execution in rapidly scaling environments.

Responsibilities

As a Multicloud Specialist, you will be spearheading the creation of new programmes, solution assets that the world's largest customers need to successfully adopt the multicloud solution.

The successful candidate will have a passion for solving difficult problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, an interest in creativity and innovative thinking, and a strong sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop and prioritize Go-To-Market (GTM) plans

  • Work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and devise creative solutions to their problems

  • Provide support and guidance to sales teams to from closing of deals to onboarding the customer

  • Work with OCI Product Management on feedback and input to product design

  • Define, measure, and manage multicloud experience and business performance goals

  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that might otherwise derail GTM

  • Create content to help enable customer success

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant hands-on product strategy experience with cloud or enterprise software

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence

  • Ability to define and shape the business strategy for multicloud business

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

  • Proven track record of successfully driving business development for new products in an agile environment

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related subject area
