Cardinal Health Digital Marketing Specialist ANZ in Australia

This role is responsible for supporting marketing campaigns through the use of digital marketing channels underpinned by the principles of Omni channel marketing. This includes but not limited to working closely with the Marketing team and Commercial Sales leads to understand the strategy and build content to increase the brand awareness to support the success of marketing campaigns.

The role is also responsible for internal communications for the Australia and New Zealand team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides input to marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, new product introduction activities including determining effective channels, media types, advertising, and social media campaigns etc. to drive revenue and sales in support of marketing objectives and overarching business objectives.

  • Collaborate with the ANZ marketing specialists to develop both digital only campaigns and enhance their omni-channel campaigns through digital means, with an aim to drive both leads and direct revenue.

  • Work with the local and regional marketing teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and best practice sharing.

  • Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns.

  • Analyse digital marketing trends and insights and optimises spend and performance based on the insights.

  • Reports monthly (written) to HOM and CX on digital activities and presents a quarterly business review specific to metrics and ROI of digital initiatives and campaigns.

  • Work with the business in determining the most appropriate placement of digital products (e.g. website, landing pages, email campaigns, etc.).

  • Evaluates end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points to optimise user experience.

  • Work with global web and technical development teams to facilitate product specific campaigns.

  • Evaluates emerging digital marketing technologies and provide insights and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

  • Action customer general enquiries via the website enquiry form and redirect as required.

  • Manage Highspot platform by providing content management, ongoing improvement, and implementation of new feature, 1:1 new user and group trainings.

  • Provides internal training and insights to the marketing and sales teams on how best to engage with customers virtually.

  • Educate the business stakeholders on the benefits, uses and best practices when participating in social media in a business context.

  • Establish tools and processes that support effective monitoring and evaluation of digital products.

  • Collaborates with International Communications and the Global Social Media Team to align on strategy and processes and identify/implement best practices to continually improve ANZ social media initiatives.

  • Responsible for ensuring digital products comply with the Cardinal Health brand guidelines, social media policy and complies with regulatory and legal obligations.

  • Make website upgrade recommendations using data from a range of sources such as analytics, surveys and direct customer feedback to improve the customer experience and support business goals.

  • Develops programs, campaigns, and content for internal communications in conjunction with the overarching business objectives (communications include website, social media, videos, editorial, PR, print & web advertising).

  • Creates plans including timelines, budgets and resource requirements for overall internal communication initiatives.

  • Collaborates with regional Communications and global teams to discover best practices, effective campaigns and to leverage content to continually improve the local communications program.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in developing a short- & long-term strategic plan for Cardinal Health ANZ.

  • Creates new content specific to the ANZ market as required (design, proofing, production, review/approval, distribution).

  • Involvement in specific projects from time to time such as annual Kick Off Meeting.

  • Support and educate business stakeholders on the policies, guidelines and best practices when promoting products and services.

  • Attend internal and external events, as required.

EDUCATION/TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred.

  • 3-5 years in Digital Marketing.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Experience with working with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is preferred.

  • Strong level of competency in Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience producing visual content for multiple channels.

  • Experience working within a regulated industry.

  • Experience working with diverse teams, internal and external, on-site, and globally.

  • Experience working in a communications or digital marketing role. Able to build rapport with internal global marketing & communications network.

  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems.

  • Able to works under direct supervision or independently.

  • Highly developed planning and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills and flexibility to effectively prioritise.

  • Advanced MS Office Skills.

  • Experience/knowledge in marketing automation software and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Good influencing skills and the ability to be assertive.

  • Proven ability to interact with cross-functional work teams.

  • A background or interest in content creation and internal communications.

  • Professional presentation with a friendly and confident and empathetic outlook.

  • Enthusiastic and energetic with an open-minded, positive, and can-do attitude.

  • Outstanding team player and highly pro-active.
