The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day

  • Drive Total Revenue (Room & F&B) and sell to new, existing, and prospective customers, considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rates for the benefit of the business.

  • Receive, respond to, and contract leisure/wholesale business within the set Sales and Service Standards.

  • Contract and maintain strong relationships with FTOs and DMCs for robust wholesale business into our cluster.

  • Utilise IHG sales tools appropriately to streamline work processes, making them more efficient and transparent – IBP, IHG Way of Sales, Delphi activity, Delphi maintenance, I-RFP, IHG Merlin, IHG Sales Source, SSP.

  • Consistently communicate internally to share market intelligence, provide feedback, and ensure customer awareness with the Hotels, ensuring planning and coordination of sales.

  • Develop relationships across all business units in the Dubai market and beyond, in the key feeder markets as well as driving the IHG Global Sales network.

What we need from you

  • Good communication and administrative skills.

  • Ability to be self-motivated, organised, and demonstrate good teamwork.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft applications, Opera, Delphi).

  • Proactive approach and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role within the Sales & Marketing department of a 5-star international hotel chain.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or equivalent.
