Job Description
As the CSS OU Training Project Manager, you are a very experienced professional in charge of ensuring the timely and successful completion of all projects assigned to you, on time and within budget to generate the expected revenue and at the approved operational margin. You are required to prevent scope creep and manage individual tasks for your teams (which may be virtual) with keen attention to detail to ensure a successful outcome for the training program and high levels of customer satisfaction.
In this specific role you will be responsible for large education projects. Most of these projects will be instructor-led, however, with the use of digital assets. Hence you will require affinity with teaching, instructors, facility and travel related logistics; as well as with audio-visual and remote teaching capabilities.
This role will require communication and planning with the customer as well as interaction with all Oracle stakeholders.

Responsibilities
The following responsibilities relate to the effective management of training delivery programs:
Plan and implement the projects
Manage scope, goals and deliverables
Define tasks and required resources
Resource, allocate and manage the project delivery teams
Manage the project to generate the expected project revenues and operating margins
Create and manage the project schedule and timeline
Lead quality assurance
Report on the project status
Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and resolutions
Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
Evaluate and assess the result of the project
Continuously aim to improve customer satisfaction ratings
Key Role Skills and Experience:
Communications Skills :
- Ability to provide clarity regarding scope, deadlines, risk, progress, options to both customers as well as internal audiences.
Time Management Skills :
- Define, schedule, and accurately estimate the task duration to develop and maintain a realistic project schedule.
Resource Management Skills:
Ability to identify the right instructors or other resources required for the projects.
Ability to plan resources in an optimal way to ensure all projects progress and instructors and other resources have the lowest possible down-time.
Problem Solving Skills:
Demonstrated experience in proactively identifying problems and taking the required action to triage and resolve issues effectively to minimise the impact to the project.
Ability to resolve problems quickly and address critical problems so the correct level of attention is applied.
Risk Management Skills:
Experience in understanding and managing project risks to ensure stakeholders make decisions based on the correct risk information.
Demonstrated experience and ability to mitigate risks.
Reporting Skills :
- Similar to communication skills, you must be able to provide the right reports at the right time, with the right amount of information.
Travel Requirement:
- Up to 20% of the time.
