Emerson Account Manager - Angola in Angola
The Account Manager role will report into the Area Director of the Angola Business. The incumbent will have the responsibility of Managing Account Relationships & Develop Account Plans in line with the Investment & Growth Programs planned for Angola.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will:
Develop & Manage Account Plans for Key/ Tier 1 Accounts for the IOCs & NOC in Angola, which will include Managing accounts with large growth potential as well as develop competitively held accounts
Develop Customer relationships engaging customers, calling at all levels, including senior levels, of target customer organizations.
Manage and build customer contacts, serving as the groups' ambassador in the marketplace. Focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, and contract negotiations, for pursuits in play.
Get Involved in early engagement in the customer buying process to discover customer needs the group can fulfill.
Continuously identify new sales opportunities and focuses on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account
Leverage and coordinate cross functional company resources to address customers drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner
Guide and leverage management and executive sponsor interactions with Existing & New Accounts i.e Tier 1 & Tier 2 customers
Be responsible for motivating others and providing strategic vision for growth in new accounts, new markets, and new geographies while driving self and others for positive business results.
Ensure that the Angola business operates in compliance with Emerson’s Corporate Governance & Compliance Standards
Develop and implement a long-term Account Strategy for Angola, consistent with the Strategic Imperatives of Emerson Automation Solutions.
Work with our Representatives to develop specific sales and marketing plans & ensure these programs are carried out in order to maximize sales/service opportunity and to improve customer loyalty.
Meet and exceed agreed short- and long-term financial targets
Maximize destination business by working in a cooperative manner with our global organization to increase our business
Develop a company culture that is based upon teamwork, dedication, integrity and continuous improvement.
Who you are?
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Portuguese.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and without day-to-day supervision.
For this Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Masters of Business Administration advantageous
5 to 7 years Industry sales experience
Customer engagement at senior levels; building long-term strategic and executive relationships
Consultative selling experience with collaborating across both client and own organization
Proven experience prospecting for sales opportunities
Commercial expertise and experience.
