Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to provide expert agile implementation of numerous core ServiceNow modules in a complex multi-contractor federal IT product and services portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Design the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows, build service requests from customer requirements, request items and tasks using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service,

  • Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create script to automate common ServiceNow tasks

  • Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration

  • Gather customer requirements and deliver a product/release that meets the needs presented

  • Create requirements definitions and technical specifications documentation

  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems

  • Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data

  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application

  • Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed, analyze and fully understand user requirements and current procedures in order to improve system capabilities

  • Automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap

  • Be competent with ITIL/ITSM processes, perform system and integration testing with sample and live data, monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application, plus detailed knowledge in CSS and other web technologies

  • Assess existing ServiceNow usage and recommend forward evolution of ServiceNow capabilities to maximize their use within the development environment.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management preferred)

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience

  • Minimum three (3) ServiceNow implementations developer role

  • Must be able to obtain required security clearance

  • ITIL Expert Certification

  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of ServiceNow functionality and configuration capabilities, able to lead solution and technical design efforts

  • Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, and designing platform architectures for a Cloud environment

  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions consistent with architectural standards and ServiceNow best practices

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated integration experience, including back-end, web services and Cloud interfacing (e.g. Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Prototype)

  • Good knowledge of AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST

  • Demonstrated broad range of technical knowledge and solution strategy expertise in order to advise on the best technical solution for stakeholder requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with designing architecture that supports continuous integration and DevOps, including managing change across the environments, supporting automated quality assurance and quality control
