Chenega Corporation Regional Program Manager (Child and Youth Services) in Virginia

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a Regional Program Manager in support of the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Army National Guard (ARNG) Child and Youth Services (CYS) in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the District of Columbia. The ARNG CYS provides information, referral and outreach to ARNG parents and school-aged youth regarding child, youth, and school services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide seamless delivery of support services including management supervision, mentorship, and mitigation for personnel

  • Analyze statistical data and brief trend analysis based on compiled data

  • Gather information, make recommendations for program improvement, synthesize information, and provide communication (orally and written) to disseminate information throughout the organization

  • Deliver oral presentations to various size groups

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of three years of demonstrated work experience in a related field, i.e. Education, Youth Development, Reserve Component Family Programs or Child and Youth Programs, social sciences, human resources, or business/program management.

  • A combination of post-secondary education and at least five years of applicable program management experience can be considered commensurate with a Bachelor’s Degree

  • Program management and implementation experience, as well as supervisory experience

  • Military or direct civilian experience in managing Family Programs/Youth Development Programs in a military organization is preferred

  • Broad knowledge in the areas of military personnel, human resources, family programs, military well-being programs, Child, Youth and School Services Programs, in addition to ARNG Family program and Deployment Cycle Support requirements is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

  • Computer literate and proficient in preparing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents

  • Ability to work with minimal oversight
