Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a Project Manager to support the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in the overall management of the contract and contract personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall contract and contract personnel, including quality assurance for all products delivered to the Government and availability of resources.

  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the estimating, planning, conducting, producing, monitoring, and reporting of all the contractor's personnel support activities.

  • Serve as the point of contact for all matters related to contract management, task order modifications, and performance issues.

  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to discuss and review task requirements, performance, and deliverables.

  • Fulfill contract reporting requirements.

  • Manage project level activities, including correspondence with contract personnel, reviewing, and developing statements of work, ensuring projects remain on schedule, coordinating with training program manager and instruction system designers with respect to project work.

  • Develop and motivate assigned Contractor staff to improve performance and quality throughout the duration of the performance period.

  • Provide progress reports outlining accomplishments/milestones met, planned activities, recommendations of process improvements and risks/issues and delivered to customer via email, with activities broken out by task.

  • Manage external and internal communication to ensure consistent and frequent messaging across work streams, with customer.

  • Manage risks and issues aligned to the work performed to ensure each work stream is producing according to plans and issues are identified early along with corresponding strategies for remediation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field

  • Possess excellent verbal, presentation, writing, and customer service skills.

  • Possess excellent leadership skills, including personnel management and project/task management.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures

  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques

  • Skill in operating Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook as well as SharePoint

  • Skills in managing and prioritizing multiple assignments with strict deadlines and ability to coordinate efforts among many offices.

  • Expertise to prepare and present information/data via oral briefing(s) and/or by written reports.

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $127,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $142,000.00/Yr.
