The Jamar Company HVAC-R Technician - Journeyman in Virginia, Minnesota

Our HVAC-R Service Technicians provide skilled services relating to repair, installation, and commissioning for all new and existing HVAC-R systems. Perform site maintenance tasks, as well as annual site inspections at all customers Commercial and Industrial facilities. Ensure strong communication both internal and external to the department. As a HVAC-R Service Technician you will: Join a team of Service professionals Be provided information, tools and support necessary for success Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC-R systems for both commercial and industrial customers Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of systems. Interpret work orders and perform work requested with limited direction. Enter and close work orders via the Service software platform. Operate a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations. Requisition of repair parts and equipment. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedure Always adhere to all safety and vehicle related policies, and comply with Company policy and standards Represent the company on customer locations/sites for service work in the regional area. THE QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of one or two-year HVAC technical degree program and associated HVAC experience for a Journeyman Working knowledge of HVAC-R equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, and required standards applicable to discipline. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively represent the company in an ethical and professional manner and consistent with our values and mission. Flexibility to work varying shifts; weekends, holidays and emergency on-call as needed. Valid State Driver's license, and able to travel to customer locations. Ability to learn and use a service software platform.
