We're on the lookout for a seasoned Operations Manager to join our vibrant team in Virginia Beach, VA.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated operations manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our company. As an operations manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of various departments, such as production, logistics, proposals, and project management. You will also ensure that our operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic goals and objectives.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor operational data and metrics, such as revenue, costs, productivity, resource allocation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to coordinate and optimize cross-functional processes and projects.
  • Support the invoicing process and monthly financial reporting
  • Support waterfall projections based on current projects
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • You will work closely with our sales team focusing on state and local government, education, and commercial sales.
  • Assist with proposal pricing activities including ad hoc pricing request if needed
  • You will support proposal efforts for current and new customers in the state and local government sector as well as commercial clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as an operations manager or similar role
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of operations management principles and best practices, such as lean, six sigma, and agile.
  • Experience with digitization and data management software solutions, preferably in the state and local government or commercial sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Highly analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software and tools.
  • Experience supporting CPFF, TandM and Fixed Price contracts.
