Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Specialist to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to :

• Strong knowledge of Information Technology (IT) policy and compliance methodology

• Have an in-depth knowledge of computer services, procedures, products, and systems

• Serve as the initial point of contact for end-users, responding to their inquiries, incidents, and service requests

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques to determine root-cause in a professional manner

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware and software issues efficiently

• Performs varied research and periodical searches to identify current trends in information systems, hardware, software, and training

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Systems, or other related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing IT related customer support with installation, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software assets or seven (7) years of related experience in leu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• CompTIA (A+, Cloud+, Security+)

Clearance Requirements:

• Current and active Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

• May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.

For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
