Robert Half has a great opportunity for a skilled Financial Analyst to join a thriving Manufacturing company. In this position, you will perform financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Daily operations will also consist of advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Interact with team members in a business partner role in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Your responsibilities

• Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

• Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

• Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources

• Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

• Survey performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

• Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team

• Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)

• Execute and monitor forecasting reports

• Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

• Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations

• An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

  Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)

• Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

• Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Complex Financial Analysis experience required

• Foundational knowledge in SQL

• Deep understanding of Annual Financial Plan

• Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience desired

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
