Aston Carter Document Control Specialist in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Document Control Specialist | Hybrid | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire | Chesapeake, VA

Aston Carter is hiring a Document Control Specialist to assist the International Sales Team with RFPs, proposal formatting, and associated document control post-sales.

About:

The Proposal Coordinator works closely with the international sales team to provide pre-sales support.

  • Prepares proposal response structure and drafts for completion by SMEs.

  • Collaborates with Proposal Managers and Proposal Team to coordinate proposal responses.

  • Completes assigned proposal documents and other proposal-related tasks.

  • Updates Sales Lists and Standard Documents.

  • Assists with RFQs of parts and processes Purchase Orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience of technical sales support

  • Familiarity with government agencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

  • 1+ year of experience in transportation, automotive, maritime, construction, or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of the RFP selling cycle

  • Bachelors Degree in business or related field is a plus
