Job Title: Senior Penetration Testing Analyst

Job Location: Hybrid

Security: Successful completion of National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI), Personnel will be screened in accordance with the requirements for High-Risk contracts.

Job Description

Lead Pentester will lead Penetration Testing effort that vary from normal to “Black Box” Forensic pentesting. The Lead Pentester will be utilizing as needed advanced digital forensics techniques to thoroughly investigate and analyze compromised systems after a penetration test, identifying the root cause of a breach, tracing attacker activity, and collecting evidence for potential legal action, while also leveraging penetration testing skills to discover vulnerabilities and exploit them in a controlled environment to further understand the attack vector; requiring expertise in both offensive and defensive cybersecurity practices, along with strong analytical and reporting abilities to present findings to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

· Digital Forensics Expertise: Thorough understanding of digital forensics principles, tools, and techniques, including data carving, file system analysis, and malware analysis.

· Penetration Testing Skills: Proficiency in penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability scanning, exploitation techniques, and various penetration testing tools like Metasploit.

· Network Analysis: Knowledge of network protocols, traffic analysis, and network forensics to identify malicious network activity.

· Scripting and Programming: Ability to write scripts for automated analysis and evidence collection using languages like Python or PowerShell.

· Incident Response Experience: Familiarity with incident response processes and best practices for managing cybersecurity incidents.

Year of Experience: 5 or more years of experience.

Certifications: Security+ certification or one or more of the following: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA).
