This current wage range for this position is $116,800 - $182,600

This highly visible position located at our Victorville, CA Facility.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Plant Quality Head, the Plant Quality Manager is the quality responsible leader for the manufacturing site, ensuring the effective implementation of and compliance to the Quality Management System policies, processes and programs, and their effectiveness through training, coaching, mentoring of all plant staff. This position is responsible for influencing and gaining alignment of the Plant Manager and plant leadership team on required operational needs to support identified improvements, as well as culture changes, to ensure quality and compliance issues are addressed. This position is responsible for setting the tone, along with the Plant Manager, to ensure an appropriate level of quality and compliance risk at each site, while supporting the business with on-time shipment of customer orders. This position is responsible for leading all regulatory inspections, certification audits and ensuring compliance of product realization for the manufacturing site. This role is responsible for managing, developing and coaching a staff. This role serves as the Management representative for the manufacturing site, as applicable.
As a site leader, the Plant Quality Manager is Responsible to always promote a positive safety culture and awareness within their area of responsibility.
The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for Incorporating principles of lean manufacturing as part of the site Lean Manufacturing program and actively drive standardization and continuous improvement within the department and across the site.

Education and Experience
University’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field
Professional typically with over 8 years technical experience and a demonstrated track record
Experience and demonstrated knowledge in at least 1 area: Consumer products, medical device, food, dietary supplements or pharmaceutical
Contributions focused on some strategic initiative as well as functional execution elements; starting to work independently and transition to people management
May be consulted internally as an expert in the area of functional expertise
Skills and Competencies
Practical understanding, interpretation, and application of ISO13485, MDSAP.
Excellent verbal and written skills; able to analyze, define and effectively convey difficult and complex issues in a way that accurately and persuasively communicates issues to internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Management.
Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with all levels of management and to build relationships across disciplines.
Excellent influence, persuasion, communication, and presentation skills
Physical Requirements :
Frequently (34-66% of time) will have to lift/carry 10 lbs. or less, bend, twist/turn, climb, crouch, kneel, reach above shoulder, reach outward, sitting, standing, use of foot pedals, repetitive motion of arms & shoulders.
Continuously ( 67-100% of time) sitting for up to 8 hours a day, type/keyboarding.
Occasionally (1-33% of time) will have to lift/carry 11-75 lbs. or greater, push/pull 12-100 lbs., crawl, type.
