Work Shift:Job Description:The Master Scheduler is accountable for reviewing materials by customer order and working cross functionally to provide validation of customer requested ship date and related activities.RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide long range input to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities and coordinate with cross functional departments to ensure material signals are in place and capacity is available to meet requirements. Work with operations to pro-actively control material usage, inventory accuracy, and ensure schedule conformance to align capacity with product mix demand. Develop production schedules for product assemblies, sub-assemblies, and associated accessories based on sales demand forecasts to deliver the correct configuration and quantity to support on-time customer delivery of product. In conjunction with key stakeholders, utilize existing and request new reports to prevent issues to mitigate future impacts Submit ERP modifications that improve scheduling parameters, work centers, and capacity models to ensure alignment of manufacturing processes and scheduling functions. Create attendee pre-work checklist, drive Late Order Notice (LON) meeting agenda, and maintain/populate LON spreadsheet Interact with Operations and Supply Chain to pro-actively understand impact of past-due purchase orders. Verify Non-Stock, Stock Material, and production capacity 5 days looking forward, including facilitating the introduction of new products and prototypes, by providing planning and scheduling support. Cross Functional Production Stand-Up Leadership including/not limited to allocating production volume/mix/capacity, resolving tactical issues, modifying production schedules to adjust to customer requirements, delivery schedules, parts availability and stakeholder engagement to ensure 100% customer on-time-delivery. Lead, develop, and/or implement best-in-class improvement processes and procedures utilizing kaizens and lean tools. Support/lead other projects and/or process improvement objectives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 to 5 years of Supply Chain/Operations experience or equivalent Leadership and experience applying lean tools and principles to drive improvements Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Proficient with ERP systems Experience communicating with external suppliers Effective in both written and verbal communications Able to travel as needed (5%)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: APICS certification for CSCP APICS certification for CPIM ISM certification for CPSM Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredWORK ENVIRONMENT:ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
