Responsibilities Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the overall administrative clerical and logistic support and services necessary for the internal operation of the division. Assures that accountability is maintained and recorded in accordance with appropriate regulatory guidelines. Establishes and/or adheres to established internal control guidelines. Supervises and directs the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of equipment and supplies. Establishes internal-controls. Develops and maintains positive and productive working relationships with key command staff elements, MWR Specialists and supporting organizations. Supervises employees engaged in administrative support and related functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One (1) year of work experience that demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the overall administrative, clerical and logistical support and service necessary for the internal operation of a division that includes; typing, mail processing, and purchasing of supplies and equipment as well as the direction of the maintenance and repair of equipment and supplies. -OR-Undergraduate degree in public administration, business administration, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled. Highly Desirable Criteria: - Previous work experience in Department of Defense (DOD) Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) operations - Prior experience in Tax Relief office operations - VAT and UTAP - Prior experience with RecTrac - Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system - Must have prior accounting experience as well as experience in a NAF accounting setting - Skill in analyzing Non appropriated financial relationships and developing recommendations for accounting actions Referral lists are based on the qualifications stated in the job announcement. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized , based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Foreign Overseas Allowances Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid.
