Microchip Technology Inc. Sr. Technical Staff Engineer - Architecture (ST-JO) in Vestal, New York
Responsible for new product definition and architecture. Engage and interact with customers (internal and external), marketing, and applications to define new products. Adhere to APID specific new product development standards while maintaining ISO, SAE, etc. compliance. Develop detailed design objective specifications (DOS) for products and associated peripherals based on the established requirements. Work closely with design/verification/validation teams to ensure that design objectives are fully met. Identify and invent Intellectual Property (IP) to enable emerging markets. Collaborate with other product divisions to maintain synergy and re-usability of IP. Mentor/supervise junior engineers. Miscellaneous APID activities (i.e. participation in design reviews).Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field followed by five years of progressive, related experience.
Minimum Salary: 142500.00 Maximum Salary: 175000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
