Marchuska Brothers Construction Construction Estimator in Vestal, New York
Construction Estimator - Marchuska Brothers Construction is looking for a Construction Estimator. Full time 40-hour work week with possible overtime. work hours M-F, 1st shift. Travel may be required to job sites. (Normal distance is a 75 mi. radius from the Triple Cities). Benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement. Pay is based on experience. <P> Candidates must meet the following criteria: <LI> Advanced blueprint reading & understanding for commercial construction and residential. <LI> Understanding and experience in new construction and renovations. (Prevailing wage and private) <LI> Comprehension of job specifications. <LI> Material and labor take offs for all divisions of construction. <LI> Conducting material and contract buyouts. <LI> Creating and maintaining job schedules. <LI> Ability to work with project managers, architects and engineers. <LI> Communication skills through multiple platforms. <LI> Proficient in Microsoft Office. <LI> Writing project proposals, change orders & RFI's <LI> Creating construction estimates from start to finish. <LI> Self-starting team player. <P> Experience <LI> Onsite construction (work in the field) 3-5 years. <LI> Project management 1-2 years. <LI> Construction estimator 3-5 years. <LI> Google Sketchup drawing experience preferred. <P> Benefits - <LI> Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Retirement Plan.
