HIRING MACHINE OPERATORS $24/HR

IN VERSAILLES, KY.

Description:

This opportunity is for one of the world's leading suppliers of glass and glazing systems in America. You will be operating CBG or Lamination lines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and make adjustments to machine as required to accommodate product changes.

• Troubleshoot problems as they arise. Communicate machinery and equipment problems to supervisor and/or maintenance personnel accurately and in a timely manner.

• Complete preventive maintenance assignments on downstream machinery as directed.

• Perform quality control testing using appropriate measuring devices. Accurately identify quality issues and communicate quality problems/concerns to supervisor and/or appropriate quality personnel.

• Make adjustments to the machine to accommodate product changes and communicate changes in production schedule to Operators/Technicians (e.g. countdowns, color changes, etc.).

• Understand operation of downstream equipment and troubleshoot problems as appropriate.

• Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with Company standards.

• Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and as stated in the various safety-related training programs.

• Understand and communicate all hazards and safety issues to the appropriate personnel.

• May perform other related assignments at the direction of supervision.

12 hour shift.

Work Environment

HOT work environment, Must where proper PPE which includes a heavy thermal jacket.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Machine Operator, Set ups and change overs, basic math (adding, subtracting and dealing with negative numbers/decimals), quality inspection, basic troubleshooting and forklift driving

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
