JOB INTEREST

Line 10 Cell Technician

Shift: TBA (To be Announced)

MTD Tupelo is currently seeking candidates who are interested in a highly technical position on the new line 10. The new line 10 cell technician will be responsible for the daily operation of Line 10 cell and those employees in their charge.

Responsibilities / Authority:

• Safely operate and maintain the Line 10 cell

• Learn and understand the different functions of the New Line 10

• Recover and re-start robots and assembly line from minor stoppages

• Repair minor equipment failures

• Train and direct employees in their daily tasks

• Highlight concerns and identify opportunities for improvement

• Maintain high quality and production standards, following all safety, ISO, and company policies/procedures

• Record production and downtime information

• Perform required TPM procedures

• Perform required 6s activities

• Any other tasks deemed necessary

• Must be able to attend training classes at ICC for instructional robot knowledge

JOB GRADE: 7

Preferred Qualifications:

• Initiative to learn more about the process in which they work

• Knowledge of PLC controls and robotics

• Knowledge of ISO and Lean manufacturing

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Computer literate

• Effective communication, written and people skills

• Good attendance record

• Must take and pass a mechanical aptitude examination
