Lead Casino Teller JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring that all activities in the Cage Department are performed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State Tax Commissions, and established company policies, procedures and controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Casino Teller include the following:

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of cage duties; including count room, end of day drop and day-to-day operations within the cage areas.

  • Responsible for the morale and direction of all front-line associates.

  • Ensures the quality of systems operations in all department areas by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance, as needed.

  • Routinely inspects all supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same.

  • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the Systems Department by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

  • All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises the activities of the Cage and indirectly supervises the activities of all systems of property.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area preferred.
