LifePoint Health Surgical Tech PRN in Vernal, Utah
Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting surgeons and other members of the surgical team during operations, including pre-surgery setup and post-operation tasks. PRN position. Must be able to take call.
Duties · Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies. · Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. · Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. · Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. · Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.

· Previous experience with surgery and/or medical services, preferred · Graduate of Surgical Tech Program, preferred · BLS certification within 6 months
