GOLDEN AGE CENTER (Uintah Health Care SSD) Home Delivered Meal Driver in VERNAL, Utah
PRN (as needed) person needed to deliver lunch to our older, homebound and disabled friends and neighbors throughout Uintah County. Meals on Wheels drivers not only feed some of the most vulnerable people in the county, but they also combat social isolation through their wellness checks and friendly visits. The winter months are always the most challenging for our clients and the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has compounded those challenges.
Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Load the prepared meals in the vehicle assigned according to the route as directed
- Deliver meals and provide wellness checks to assigned clients
- Report Change in Conditions to supervisor or designated staff member
- Distribute envelopes, program handouts, menus and informational flyers when instructed
Position Requirements
- Driver's License and good driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and climb stairs
- Able to pass all background checks and drug screen
- Must be at least 21 years old
Must be dependable and work well with all coworkers
