Under the direction of the Vice President of Instructional Services, the Director of Business and Trades leads, administers, instructs and advances the instructional programs, accreditation, curricula and courses of study in Business and Industry related programs, to provide for an environment which fosters positive attitudes, creativity, and learning in accordance with appropriate accreditation/certification standards. This position instructs some courses in the Business and Industry programs as appropriate and performs a variety of administrative duties, as required, to assist and evaluate instructors in educating students from different backgrounds, in the classroom and in the lab, using a variety of teaching methods.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Teaching experience in an adult education environment
- Three (3) years progressive experience in business
- Personnel management background
- Proficient computer skills
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver's license, CDL license preferred.
Note: Related work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
