About The Role

We are currently seeking a professional, self-motivated individual with proven account development and negotiation skills to join our Sales Team. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, this role will have you responsible for the Province of Quebec and the Maritimes.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Establish relationships with our existing customer base

  • Develop plans on how to establish account relationships and develop a business plan for each account resulting in increased sales

  • Encourage and provide promotional programs and promote new product launches; conduct frequent sales presentations

  • Identify gaps within each customer then develop a strategy for success

  • Produce sales per assigned accounts that exceed budget plans

  • Produce and follow-up on quotes and leads

  • Help communicate a sales direction and market strategy

  • Be responsive and attentive to all customer needs and help resolve any issues or concerns

  • Provide one-on-one or group training

  • Attend trade shows and travel

  • Provide accurate activity reporting using available corporate reporting tools

  • Work collaboratively with other team members, our customers, End-users to drive pull sales of Mul-T-Lock products.

  • Strong understanding of solution selling including providing pricing, Product/Technical support, installation and training support.

  • Other projects as assigned.

    About You

    To be successful in this role it is essential that you possess the following key skills and attributes:

  • Proven ability to achieve product representation and brand positioning

  • 5+ years experience working with Locksmith, Door Hardware and Integrated Access Control Solutions.

  • Proven ability to influence and achieve sales through effective communication and negotiation

  • Solution selling skills to gain new business whilst maintaining existing accounts

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously

  • Ability to travel within Canada

    You are results orientated, and have business acumen to understand your customers business. A demonstrated ability to present relevant quality information to a wide customer base will be essential. Ideally, you will be experienced in field sales and have the ability to motivate, persuade and influence decision-makers to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
