Eaton's new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, was completed in November 2023. The 16,500 m² site houses research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof, which will create plenty of additional jobs.

What you’ll do:
As a Lead Technical Pre-Sales Engineer for UPS systems, you will provide training and coaching to colleagues and customers on UPS technologies and solutions. You will oversees and coordinate daily tasks and activities of the Technical Pre-Sales team.
Support internal sales organizations and customers with technical and commercial UPS and EnergyAware requests across the EMEA region
Support sales offices and customers in finding technical solution and bid creation with complex and non-routine requests
Analyze customer requirements, make quotations and supporting material and design UPS solutions together with other stake holders (R&D, Product Marketing, Production, Sales, Suppliers etc.)
Train and coach colleagues and customers on UPS technologies and solutions
Oversee and coordinate daily tasks and activities of AE team and ensure that they are completed accurately on time
Develop and implement tools and processes to improve efficiency and team performance
Prepare and report daily updates on AE team project status and team performance to Application Engineering Manager
Work in close contact and cooperation with key customers, consultants and contractors to understand their product design needs and support Eaton EMEA 3-phase growth objectives
Act as a technical expert and a host for customer visits, witness tests and demonstrations
Act as a technical advisor and represent Eaton in customer meetings, company trade shows and events globally
Act as an ambassador for new products and technologies, promoting them to sales offices and customers
Qualifications:
B.Sc degree in electrical engineering or related field
Several years of experience in Electrical and/or Electronic industry
Experience with coordinating/leading people is an advantage
Skills:
Technical knowledge on power electronics and three phase electrical systems and solutions
Comprehensive understanding of UPS technologies, systems and infrastructures around them
Experience in developing and implementing tools and processes
Fluency in English is essential and in Finnish is desirable
Leadership skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Problem-Solving skills, Teamwork, Adaptability, Customer-facing skills
