Description: Operation, functional check, maintenance, repair and

modification of gasoline, propane, diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic-powered vehicles and

equipment. Perform installation, repair, maintenance and operation of machine tools,

fabrication machines and other plant machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform

maintenance on metal doors, gates, fences, platforms, towers, rails, ladders and related

equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of maintaining large and small motors, hoisting equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.

• Possess a working knowledge of structural materials,

mechanical parts and assemblies.

• Set-up and operate various types of metal forming,

bending, blanking and cutting machines and equipment.

• Must have ability to work at various heights of gantries, towers and poles; to work in confined areas.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w Poly

Desired Skills:

Functional test, troubleshoot, isolate problems and repair or replace failed components in

powered vehicles and equipment, such as, but not limited to vehicles and truck tractors,

stationary and mobile cranes, powered high-lifts and forklifts, mobile missiles ground

handling and AGE (Aerospace Ground Equipment) support equipment, air compressors

and related equipment, hydraulic pumps and power equipment, two-stroke or equivalent

small motors and gas powered generators and welders. May be required to operate tugs

and lifting equipment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week

The base range for this position in California is $27.63 - $50.79.
