Job Description

The Tissue Processing Lab Technician is responsible for performing various tasks including debridement (cleaning tissue samples), processing, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products intended for surgical transplantation. This role is in a laboratory environment and will be working with human tissue samples that are used to help people with numerous medical complications and/or surgeries.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished product.

• Utilize special techniques, instrumentation and equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.

• Assist Team Lead with efforts in maintaining inventory levels on the core and dock for receiving supplies.

• Perform lab cleaning activities as required by policies, protocols, procedures and SOPs.

• Correctly complete production documentation as required in nerve processing in accordance with standard operating procedures, and quality standards.

• Assist with production records as needed.

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.

Additional Skills ands Qualifications:

• Must have at least HS Diploma

• Must have experience handling specimens of some kind, or experience being in a laboratory setting
