Description

We are seeking a Controller based in Vancouver, Washington, for a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit processes efficiently and accurately

• Oversee and manage budget processes

• Apply knowledge of fund accounting, particularly in the non-profit sector

• Utilize Abila MIP software for accounting needs

• Ensure accurate account reconciliations are carried out

• Monitor and control financial resources

• Develop financial strategies and plans

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve financial objectives

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Requirements • Possession of strong auditing skills with a keen eye for detail

• Proficient in budget processes and able to manage financial planning effectively

• Knowledge and experience in Fund Accounting, specifically within non-profit organizations

• Familiarity with Abila MIP software and its application in financial management

• Ability to perform account reconciliation and ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Proven leadership skills and experience in a managerial role

• Relevant certification or degree in finance, accounting or a related field
