The Card Operations Specialist I perform and supports various card processing functions. Demonstrates high level of member service by providing timely and accurate operational support to staff regarding debit and credit card member questions and inquiries. Essential Duties: Perform processes related to cards services: adjustments, fraud, disputes, file processing, exception processing, Cash Advance settlement balancing, Symitar and processor reports. Provide timely operational support to staff under the direction of supervisor. Provide internal member service by answering questions and inquiries. Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls including, but not limited to; audits, security, legal notifications, and disclosures. Develop operational procedures ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, under the direction of supervisor. Prepare, review and distribute reports within area of responsibility. Maintain an understanding of all Credit Union products and services. Demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge applicable to this position and understand and comply with government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US Patriot Act and related regulations. Actively participate and fulfill expectations in the Credit Union Email Security Awareness Program as outlined in the Information Security Program Acknowledgement document. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: Experience: One to three years related experience required.
