- Job #7991 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Business Analyst 2 - Safety position will provide business and risk analysis support and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), its stakeholders, and various department representatives. This position will analyze the Safety Organization's business model framework for alignment with agency goals and safety strategic initiatives through analysis of collected data, policy and program reviews, and assessment of incidents and safety concerns. This position will apply technical business and risk analysis expertise to identify early indicators of presented hazards and support the agency in taking proactive measures in risk mitigation to prevent harm to its employees and business partners. This position will also support benchmarking studies that identify and recommend implementation of consensus best practices and methodologies into work planning to ensure the organization accomplishes its business strategic goals. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay range: $34.88 - $49.84 Benefits:

- Collaborate with NFB and stakeholders to obtain in-depth understanding of the organization's strategy implementation plan, safety strategic initiatives, agency goals, and objectives to support meeting targeted outcomes.
- Perform analysis of data collected from safety databases pertaining to training, incident assessments, safety concerns, agency safety surveys, employee interviews, and available information regarding work environments and conditions as part of identifying opportunities to improve the organization's safety culture and safe work environment.
- Perform analysis of safety policies, programs, and work standards through the agency decision framework to support executive decision-making processes to reduce agency risks to an acceptable business level.
- Evaluate and advise on the methods and procedures for the development of safety initiatives for business processes.
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve effectiveness of data collection, tracking, and trending.
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve effectiveness of hazard mitigation and risk management in day-to-day operations.
- Analyze data collected from routine and task-based hazard identification processes to verify that occupational hazards are identified, assessed, controlled, and monitored per agency adopted consensus standards.
- Support the development of a comprehensive safety risk management program and associated procedures to ensure agency prioritization of corrective actions and safety strategic initiatives are effective at reducing overall occupational health risks to employees and business partners.
- Establish a process for utilization of the Safety Risk Assessment Matrix to categorize hazards found during facility inspections, job observations, incident assessments, employee interviews, audits, and other reporting avenues which is quantitative, standardized, and measured by specific actionable performance indicators.
