Paladin Technologies Technician II - Security in Vancouver, British Columbia
As a Technician lI - Security with Paladin Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.
This role requires the ability and know how to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the BOM, and be capable of making adjustments or finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.

Our Integrated Systems Technicians are responsible for installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, configure and maintain CCTV systems, alarm systems, and related security equipment.
Perform cable pulling, termination, and routing as part of security system installation
Provide the customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning security equipment and systems
Complete detailed and accurate paperwork
Perform other tasks as required
You may be required to be “on-call” before or after your regularly scheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduled to work
You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting
Experience with security systems, CCTV, alarms
Vendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferred
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members
Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
Able to work independently
Hourly Pay Range: $28ph - $37ph DOE
