This Software Engineer II position is with the Microsoft Teams, which focuses on innovative Artifical Intelligence (AI) features in the Calling, Meetings and Devices space and an opportunity to collaborate with partner teams on technologies across the company and beyond. Responsibilities

Design, implementation, support and testing of platform features. 

  • Prototype and iterate on innovative features, collaborating with other feature teams. 

  • Build user experiences that work great across multiple devices and browsers. 

  • Investigate and prototype modern technologies and frameworks. 

  • Write and maintain unit tests and automated integration tests. 

  • Support partner teams to deliver delightful growth focused experiments and experiences. 

  • Live-site support rotations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of industry experience with full-stack or front-end systems. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • React, GraphQL, Apollo client experiences. 

  • Exposure to experimentation, telemetry, machine learning, pipelines, analytics.

  • Experience working with multiple codebases. 

  • Database query language.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.
