Teams Application Security team focuses on keeping Microsoft Teams and its users safe and secure – across the full stack and all dimensions. We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Security Engineer to join our team and help drive security improvements within Microsoft Teams. Responsibilities

  • Own security features and mitigations end-to-end: work with engineering teams on ideation, design, execution plans, and implementation.

  • Perform security reviews and work with engineering teams on identifying mitigations.

  • Perform security assessment of existing systems and code and drive remediations.

  • Triage, assess, remediate reported security vulnerabilities.

  • Share knowledge and expertise by preparing and delivering trainings for internal audience.

Qualifications

  • Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years in software or security engineering with experience coding in languages such as Javascript/Typescript, C++ or C#

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience with frontend and/or backend application security.

  • 3+ years experience with Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 10+ years in software or security engineering with experience coding in languages such as Javascript/Typescript, C++ or C#

  • OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.
