What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Human Resource Project Manager
Location: Vancouver, BC
Expected Start Date: April 2025
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
In this role, you’ll:
Provide logistical, operational, and communications support to the Head of HR Canada in their mission to:
Drive people agenda for SAP Canada, leading/supporting strategic programs that build on SAP Canada’s position as a top employer of choice (Employer Branding, Employer Awards, Future of Work, Employee Engagement topics, Diversity & Inclusion, etc.)
Manage Canada-specific programs like SAP Canada’s employer awards, future of work, HR Canada All-Hands, partnering with SAP Labs and external service providers
Define and execute strategies for the successful implementation of global HR programs in Canada
Driving HR Legal and Compliance topics that are required at the federal / provincial level
Ensure compliance with Canadian legal and reporting requirements (Bill 96, Pay Transparency, Worker’s compensation, Government of Canada reporting, HR Compliance audits)
Provide timely and professional internal and external facing presentations, HR and country-wide communications, coordinate and run quarterly meetings such as the HR Canada All Hands:
Maintain and coordinate HR policies and document templates, such as the SAP Canada Policy Handbook
Provide data analysis insights to various stakeholders
Act as a Brand Ambassador for SAP Canada, assist in giving visibility to key SAP people topics
Find creative ways to help the HR community run simpler and market HR Canada’s accomplishments with internal storytelling (SAP Canada infographics, SharePoint, and creative digital content)
What you bring
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
Education: Bachelors, Masters or PHD in Management, Business Administration, Psychology or Marketing with concentration in Human Resources
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
You have strong project management skills, collaboration, and communication skills, you are team-oriented and enjoy communicating across stakeholders at all levels
You have an aptitude for handling multiple priorities – you bring a future-focused mindset to projects to anticipate what’s next, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
You have an analytical mindset plus a “can-do” attitude
You are proactive and have an independent approach to critical thinking and learning
You have a strong focus on customer experience and have a marketing mindset and break from the status quo with an innovative approach and new way of thinking
You can think big picture to bring an idea or concept together at a project level - but are able to focus on the detail and understand when it’s important to get that right
You can write clearly and articulately
You are experienced with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Experience in managing projects and working with multiple stakeholders
Not required but Bonus experience!
Previous internship experience
Experience in facilitating meetings on Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Experience with (SAP) HR programs, tools (IPP/Analytics Cloud, Ariba, Success Map, …) and policies
Experience in creative design and engagement tools (Canva, Adobe, Mentimeter, …)
Excellent knowledge of English, written and oral; French language skills

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 18-31 CAD.
