Insight Global Product Manager, Omni International in Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Description

As Product Manager, Omni International, you will be responsible for core omni fulfillment capabilities (Node and sourcing logic, ship from store) for our APAC and EMEA markets. Outside of omni channel capabilities this team supports key inventory intelligence product teams and is a key partner for overall omni channel program success. A day in like as a product manager would look like :

 Define features & map them to opportunities based on their scope

 Feature prioritization & sequencing

Responsible for sizing features in collaboration with key partners from technology and business teams

 Define high level requirements, in accordance with an agreed upon structure with minimal support for small to midsize products or projects

 Define Epics & User Stories keeping in mind the hierarchy of work and work products

 Define metrics for features and map these to organizations KPIs / OKRs

 Assess performance of work output and identify the need to adjust plans and replan work for small to midsize products or projects

 Input into & documents cross functional communication material

 Input into roadmap & planning communication material for small to midsize product or projects

 Keep up with the latest fulfilment trends and market expectation in Europe and Asia

Skills and Requirements

5-7 years of product management experience with an emphasis on delivering back-end / services and order management. Up to 2 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of product management experience

 A minimum BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university (advanced degree preferred).

 Experience in the retail omni-channel, order management and inventory intelligence system preferred

 Experience with Enterprise level Order Management System (e.g. IBM Sterling)

 Skilled in creating and communicating the omni-channel product strategy and roadmap

 Experienced in leading ideation, opportunity assessment, and launch of digital products that enable customers to have a frictionless experience

 Comfortable in leading with the "Why" and constantly driving transparency as well as collaboration across stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment

 Experienced in translating roadmap into digestible EPICs with clear feature prioritization

 Ability to critically assess existing capabilities to understand build vs. buy approach

 Ability to deeply understand consumer needs and trends, uncovering business value in a quantifiable manner

 Strong core consulting skills (demonstrated track record of quality delivery, interpersonal and cross-functional relationship skills). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

 Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering executive-level presentations and driving stakeholder alignment

 The ability to drive results independently but thrive in collaborative environments

 A deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting, and acting on productive feedback

 A desire and ability to learn quickly and work in an agile environment

 Demonstrated leadership, visionary, clarity of purpose, motivated, relentless execution

 Experience leading product teams with diverse range of skill sets, locations and direct and in-direct reporting relationships null
