Microsoft Corporation Principal Product Manager in Vancouver, British Columbia

Microsoft Copilot Studio is at the forefront of conversational AI innovation, leveraging cutting edge AI technologies to offer users the premier low-code, no-code enterprise solution for creating and extending copilots -- all from one single SaaS product interface that can see a custom copilot be created, published and deployed within a matter of minutes.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal Product Manager to join our product team and help drive the advancement of core experiences in Copilot Studio. This role is pivotal in driving the overall quality of the product experience to ensure user satisfaction, growth, retention and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customer-facing user experiences and be able to exercise the fine art of prioritizing based on qualitative signal, data insights and strong product instinct, in the ever-evolving landscape of conversational AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize features and develop a roadmap based on a variety of different sources of signal (NPS, customer feedback, field asks, internal usage, user research, etc) to build highly well-crafted, purpose built experiences in Copilot Studio.

  • Lead the discovery and definition of core UX features to continue to innovate on conversationally generated copilots, focused on engaging and retaining users that rely on Copilot Studio for their business KPIs.

  • Measure and report on the impact of shipped features on the overall usability and user outcomes that drive user sophistication and retention.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Software architects, Marketing and partner teams across M365 and Power Platform to align strategies and ensure a unified approach to building great product solutions.

  • Mentor other Product Managers to build conviction and clarity on what it takes to build high quality AI products in Microsoft's BIC group.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in or with large enterprises, particularly within the technology or SaaS sectors.

  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their application in customer success.

  • Proven track record of driving customer success and growth in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.

  • Driven by results, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $135,800 - CAD $253,000 per year.
