Hiring Production Technicians

Job Description

Working on energy-efficient HVAC systems that have over 100 configurations for customers to customize. You will receive an assignment and a station to work on the unit from start to finish, which varies depending on the size and scale. Units range from small (the size of a microwave) to large (the size of a photo booth). The work is independent, and you will manage your day. Typical tasks include using hand/power tools, mechanical and electrical assembly, inserting core cells into units, documentation, and lifting/carrying insulated panels.

Required Skills

• 1 year minimum manufacturing assembly experience

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Good English communication (written, understanding, spoken)

• Able to stand, stretch, bend, lift, crouch

• Able to lift up to 50lbs

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Shifts Available:

• Morning- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:15 pm

• Afternoon -Monday to Friday, 3;00 pm-11:15 pm

Compensation

• $22.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on shift premiums

• 4% Vacation pay

• Weekly Payroll

• Eligible for Medical & Dental benefit enrolment on the 1st of each month

• 5 paid sick days after 3 months

• Eligible for statutory holiday pay

Work Environment

• The facility is recently moved into and still being built out to maximize production.

• It is an industrial space but clean, with sounds of machines operating.

• The temperature is room temperature, and the lunch/break room is air-conditioned.

• The production team size is 32, with 45 in operations total.

• PPE required includes steel-toed boots, with the rest provided (vest, ear plugs, gloves, glasses).
