Job Title: Chief Safety Officer (CSO)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chief Safety Officer (CSO) to oversee safety protocols at our site. The ideal candidate will conduct walk-throughs of the shop and site, collaborate with the General Contractor's safety team, attend safety meetings, develop and implement new safety plans and procedures, lead toolbox meetings, initiate the day with enthusiasm, and ensure the team is motivated. Additional responsibilities include reporting and maintaining incident plans, performing job hazard analyses, conducting orientations, and verifying valid tickets for new employees.
Responsibilities
Conduct walk-throughs of the shop and site to ensure safety compliance.
Collaborate with the General Contractor's safety team and attend safety meetings.
Develop and implement new safety plans and procedures.
Lead and run toolbox meetings.
Start the day with energy and motivate the team.
Report and maintain incident plans.
Perform job hazard analyses.
Conduct orientations and verify valid tickets for new employees.
Essential Skills
OFA Level 2 certification.
CSO certification.
Experience running toolbox meetings.
2+ years of experience as a CSO on commercial or institutional projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
NCSO certification.
OFA Level 3 certification.

Work Environment
Work hours are typically from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime as the project progresses. The project duration is expected to be extended. Please note there is no parking available in the area. We maintain a strict safety-focused atmosphere, ensuring all safety rules are followed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00
