Eaton’s looking for a Specialist SCM Supplier Quality & Supplier Development for our E-mobility business.

This professional will be responsible for the Aluminum casting comodity. Travel avaiability is required.

What you’ll do:

Use technical expertise in manufacturing process and Supplier Development Engineer (SDE) processes & procedures, enhancing the results and compliance in the in terms of technical subjects/developments and in the process & tolls applications, including design feasibility analysis and process development (APQP), to drive the successful approval (PPAP) and launch of components (SAFE Launch) within the Global Supply Base

Drive audits and suppliers qualification (QSL), continuous improvement actions such as Lean Manufacturing, Scrap Reduction, Design Improvements, and Capability Improvements in the components for Eaton´s supply base.

Support regional and Global issues as SME (Subject Mater Expert).

Mentor of Supplier Development Engineer /Supplier Quality Engineer in the business process and manufacturing

Leadership: Leads SDEs team (Local) and/or in the businesses (Global) in the definition and development of technological/statistical solutions for new developments and to solve critical issues

SDE/SCM process & procedures: Constantly review, develop and deploy improvements in the SDE/SCM business processes towards efficiency and effectiveness improvement.

Supplier development: Applies technical expertise (technical and statistic) to develop suppliers and components to guarantee business continuity, mitigating risks in the launches, production (quality), delivers and cost.

Knowledge Resource: Serves as a consultant in the business process & procedures (SDE/SQE/SCM), as well as, in a specific manufacturing process (that the professional is specialist). Is regarded as a Local & Global expert and provides advice and council to others in current technologies.

Innovation: Identifies new technology advancement opportunities in a specific manufacturing process. Develops/suggests solutions or improves existing products, process or components in response the business needs.

Digital Mindset: Work to identify and develop digital solutions to enhance SDE_SCM controls, improving the efficiency eliminating wastes and accelerating critical analysis and actions.

Business Acumen: Maintains vigilance and advises Eaton of any competitive and regulatory activities related to these technological sciences.

Business Support: Strategic and technical drives on Regional/Global key issues as SME (Subject Mater Expert)

Qualifications:

• Complete degree in engineering discipline + Post Graduation, MBA or Master Degree

• Solid experience in Supplier Quality/Development and specialist in a specific manufacturing process

• Solid experience with Aluminum casting process

• Knowledge in Core Tools: PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC

• Experience auditing and with Lean Six Sigma Tools (desirable Black Belt)

• Fluent English and Portuguese Speaker
