Lab Technician – 1st Shift

Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest health food and supplement companies, and this is your chance to work with them in the San Fernando Valley!

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Research and Development Laboratory. In addition, you will work under general supervision and perform a variety of physical testing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Empty product in trays and starch trays accordingly.

• Assist in monitoring products and equipment for correctness and cleanliness.

• Select samples for in-process and final evaluations and perform appropriate tests.

• Monitors manufacturing steps when required by the batch record.

• Monitors and samples products during manufacturing.

• Documents the testing results on the appropriate forms. Inputs data into computer as required.

• Requires knowledge of data entry, like entering test results in spreadsheets.

• Conduct physical testing on the product using computer-aided equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• 3 months to 1 year related laboratory experience required

• Must be able to use or learn to use scales, calipers, and other measurement equipment.

• Strong Computer skills

• Ability to speak, read, and write English to follow written SOPs, comparison to specification, and documentation of findings.

• Strong Communication skills

• Attention to detail

Shifts Available:

Shifts are available from Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
