Responsible for the diagnosis, examination, and treatment of patients on a variety gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders, including abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver disorders, pancreatic disease, malabsorptive disorders, and feeding disorders. Consult with patients to understand their health concerns. Perform specialized test including colon cancer screening to diagnose patients. Determine proper course of treatment. Refer patients to a specialist if necessary and consult with patients primary care physician , as needed. Analyze patients historical health data. Perform endoscopic procedure to inspect internal organs. Perform X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.
The minimum requirements for this position are an M.D. degree, U.S. residency training in the field of Internal medicine and Gastroenterology The position also requires the applicant to have a valid license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia[]{#Hlk84872834}[]{#Hlk85045461}
